About Me
​
As a former Police Officer and 11-year Special Victims Detective, I have dedicated my life to ensuring the safety of children. In doing so, I have worked closely with schools, teachers, and administrators. And I have seen first-hand that a community thrives when it has engaged, involved citizens working together – with businesses, with schools, with government entities, and with community groups.

In addition to my history of public service, I have a Masters Degree in English Literature, and currently work as an HR Professional in a Fortune 200 Company. In my job, I am responsible for building programs that attract and retain talent and for creating a culture where employees are engaged and supported.
​
I am also a wife and mother of four children, who have attended three different schools in Stevens Point, so I have a personal stake in the success of our school district. I am running because I want to ensure that every student has a safe environment to learn, and that district resources are focused on growth in student achievement.​​​​ I am committed to the success of all students, and to bringing new ideas as to how we should approach that in light of the needs of the district.
